We are excited to announce new openings for the Graduate Research Excellence (GRE) Program at VinUniversity. Our lab is expanding and seeking talented, motivated researchers to join several cutting-edge sensor projects, including:
Molecularly Imprinted Polymer (MIP)–based biosensors for antibiotic detection
Wearable biosensing systems for health and environmental monitoring
This is an excellent opportunity for young researchers who aim to pursue a Master's or PhD degree at VinUni and want to gain hands-on experience in advanced materials, biosensors, and translational research.

Research Assistant with Potential for VISHC-UIUC Joint PhD Program
The BEL Lab is seeking a highly motivated research assistant with a background in Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or a related field to contribute to our biosensor projects. We aim to develop electrochemical and optical biosensors for detecting DNA, whole bacteria, mRNA, residual antibiotics related to lung cancer therapy, pathogenic bacteria, and heavy metals.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct experiments.
Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in manuscript writing.
Provide guidance to undergraduate students and assist with general lab tasks.

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS – MASTER/PH.D. STUDENTS- RESEARCH/TEACHING ASSISTANTS
Job Description
BEL lab at VinUni has several openings for postdocs, Ph.D. students, and research (and/or) teaching assistants to join different projects driven by innovations in sensors, energy storage, and sustainable materials through the following key projects:
Project SENSOMAT – Development of novel nanomaterials for high-sensitivity sensors in biomedical, robotics, and environmental applications.
Project ENERSTORE – Design high-performance supercapacitors and sustainable energy storage systems using hybrid and composite materials.
Project ECOFAB – Creating biodegradable and eco-friendly materials for green electronics and environmental remediation.
Requirements:
Major in Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
Motivated, passionate, diligent and responsible.
Work full time at VinUni in Gia Lam district.
Job duties for Postdocs:
Lead one of the research directions in the group.
Supervise research assistants in scientific works.
Prepared manuscripts, and proposals.
Job duties for RAs:
· Conduct the experiments
· Help PI write the manuscript
· Support PI in teaching Physics courses sometimes.
· Support the undergraduate students and some small jobs at the lab.
